NEET UG 2025 Updates: New Paper Pattern, Eligibility & Exam Dates Revealed!

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced updates for NEET UG 2025. Here are the latest details:


NEET UG 2025 Exam Dates:


- Registration starts: March 1, 2025


- Last date to apply: March 31, 2025


- Exam date: May 3, 2025


- Result declaration: June 15, 2025


Eligibility Criteria Updates:

1. Age Limit: No upper age limit for NEET UG 2025

2. Qualifying Exam: 12th standard or equivalent with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)

3. Minimum Marks: 50% for general category, 40% for SC/ST/OBC


New Paper Pattern:


1. Sections:Four sections - Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology


2. Questions: 200 multiple-choice questions (50 each from PCB and 50 from either Botany/Zoology)


3. Marking Scheme: +4 marks for correct answers, -1 mark for incorrect answers


4. Exam Duration: 3 hours 20 minutes


Section-wise Distribution:


- Physics: 50 questions

- Chemistry: 50 questions

- Botany: 50 questions

- Zoology: 50 questions


Other Updates:


1. Exam Centers: 385 centers across India and abroad


2. Language Options: 13 languages including English, Hindi, and regional languages


3. Application Fee:Rs. 1600 for general category, Rs. 900 for SC/ST/OBC
